The doctors committee said in a statement that “the soul of a martyr, whose data has not yet been verified, rose in the Omdurman protest marches after being shot in the chest with what was likely a shotgun.”

The Resistance Committees however,  confirmed the death of “martyr Muhammad Khalis” after being shot with a shotgun shell in the Azhari’s roundabout in Omdurman, after which he was transferred to “Taqqa” hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Karari Resistance Committees’ coordinators launched an urgent call for the revolutionaries to move immediately to the “Taqqa” hospital, where the body of the martyr Muhammad Khalis was located.

The resistance bodies also said that other casualties among protesters were being recorded, attributing them to the excessive repression with which the coup forces faced the revolutionaries in processions of May 21 in Omdurman.

“The coup forces deliberately use deadly violence,” the resistance forces said in a statement.

“…using all kinds of weapons against the peaceful revolutionaries who prove day after day that peace is stronger than bullets and that it is the most powerful weapon against his [army commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan’s] arsenal and his violent machine,” she said.
